INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR A BETTER WORLD CIVILIZATION
Under the auspices of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE

This organization was created by decision of the 22nd Grand Session of the PERMANENT WORLD PARLIAMENT at Paris, France, in 1952, and its prime objective is to facilitate better moral and spiritual relations among all people, and to guide mankind toward a more equitative and fraternal civilization.
It is, in fact, in a way, the purely economic-social aspect of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE, and it functions as an entirely independent organization. It aims, furthermore, at facilitating the endeavors of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE and to find financial and material means for its different projections.
Its plans of action were accepted and widely recommended by the 24th Grand Session of the Permanent World Parliament of Religions, held in the city of Paris, France, last December 1954.
Its main aims are:
(1) – Make the wonderful ideals and principles of Interfaith Moral Cohesion, Fraternal and Peaceful Cooperation and Universal Spiritual Communion of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE better known throughout the world, in non-proselytical, impersonal, anti-sectarian, and non-mercantile manners.
(2) – Find means for the better unfoldment of the economic-social improvement plans of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE to the advantage of humanity at large, particularly in:
a:- Interfaith cooperation;
b:-- Interreligious Missions;
c:- Universalian Missionary Training;
d:- Social rehabilitation to war refugees and to victims of vice, prejudice and racial discrimination;
e:- Moral defence and economic-social protection to victims of religious intolerance and persecution, political exiles, escapees from tyrannies, needy emigrants, sans patries, distressed inventors , and talented people who need help.
(3) – Create a source of permanent revenue for the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE, and thus engross its World General Fund, which is destined to educational and welfare endeavors.
(4) – Enlist the Goodwill and practical Co-operation of all people and business enterprises through the world so as to facilitate the educational activities and help to assist the rescue and rehabilitation endeavors of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE, by means of spontaneous contributions, donations and bequests.
(5) - Hold public Meetings, social events and tombolas, print pamphlets and produce educational films for the diffusion of religious ideals in support of all Religions and Faiths.
(6) – Further the spirit of co-operation among all Churches, Fraternities, Faiths and Philosophies, and extend to them the benefits of our endeavors.
(7) - Manage the material interests of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE in the understanding that Churches, Learned Societies, Fraternities and Benevolent Associations, Philosophical Academies and Spiritual Sanctuaries should limit their sphere of action to religious, educational, research and spiritual affairs, and never have to engage in business activities, or ever be a public charge and forced to mendicate.
(8) – Build Religious Missions, Spiritual Refuges, Collective Co-operatives and Settlements, and Universal Temples or Cathedrals in different localities throughout the world for the free use by all Churches, Faiths, Fraternities, Mystical Schools, Philosophical Academies, and Spiritual Sanctuaries indiscriminately.
(9) – Establish yearly Grand Awards, more or less like the Nobel Prizes, but in the spirit of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE and according to the decisions of the PERMANENT WORLD PARLIAMENT OF RELIGIONS, with grants in cash to the most extraordinary achievements or genial endeavors during the year, for the following capacities:
a – World Peace
b - Human Brotherhood
c – Scientific Progress
d - Religious Art – Literature
f - Transcendental Philosophy
g – World Relations
h – Humanitarian Action
I – Improvement of Morals
j – Universal Missions
k - Social Reform
l - Spiritual Advancement
The Awards should consist of three classes, namely: FIRST with $ ____ in cash and Diploma, SECOND with $____ in cash and Diploma, and THIRD with $____ and Diploma. The cash gifts would be made only when the Funds in existence would permit, and they would be increased whenever possible. These Awards shall be granted through the decisions of the Board of Directors of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE.
(10) – Amply propagandize the Spiritual Principles and Moral Values of all Religions, the ideals of Human Dignity, and World Peace so as to enlist to the greatest extent the Goodwill and Co-operation of as many people – human beings, God’s own children - as possible regardless of faith, creed, cult, race, sex, nationality, or social status.
It is our obligation to FINANCE the wonderful work of the UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLIANCE, and MAKE POSSIBLE, materially, the Worldwide Brotherhood – Commonwealth of Mankind under the Fatherhood of God.
