The UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS ALLLIANCE, now adopting a new designation that defines batter its functional conditions, yearnings, endeavors and ultimate aspirations – Universal, Humanist, Cultural and Spiritual Alliance – is celebrating its H A L F C E N T U R Y of existence (today close to ONE CENTURY), and we want you all to know that we are happy to send you a complete information on our recent activities, including a synthetic exposé of our achievements. May this wonderful opportunity serve also to extend to all the world our heartiest GREETINGS.
As YOU will easily realize, our efforts have hot been completely unsuccessful, or fruitless. Still, we want you to know that we are not entirely satisfied either, as our goal is not fulfilled, and it shall not be until all the nobly-intended people and organizations really U N I T E , morally and Spiritually, as well as materially within their means.
As previously emphasized, our aim is to establish, develop and further the Kingdom Divine which was proposed, promised and ported by the founders of all the great Religions and Philosophies of yesteryears. For certain, the kingdom of God within us, as established in the Words of wisdom, but not until Conscience is completely awakened in ourselves is there a full life, and when this is attained in the nobler spiritual sense it is known as Kingdom Divine, and this includes people of all faiths, regarding of race, cultural tradition, or nationality. Neither is this any way contradictory to any sound philosophy, as here the fundamental mainstays and aims are exclusively of moral character and spiritual significance.
Our progress thus far is of unquestionable importance, naturally, because we have succeeded considerably in our efforts toward the establishment and development of the WORLD-WIDE BROTHERHOOD-COMMONWEALTH OF MAN, or, in other words, the Universal Confederation-Fellowship Co-operative of Religious, Fraternal and Philosophical organizations and Free People. We have also organized the PERMANENT WORLD CONGRESS OF MAN or Parliament of all Religions, Faiths, Fraternities, Humanist, societies,
Now our great objective is to convince THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD that we are exclusively in the S E R V I C E of God, Spiritual Truth, Humanity, and that the Golden Rule of Righteousness, Love, Peace, Freedom, Dignity and Wisdom constitute our fundamental motives and aims. A Spiritual Civilization absolutely devoid of politics, international strife, crude sectarianism, immoral government, glorified vice, foolish selfishness, vicious colonialism, vain materialism, aggressiveness is our immediate goal. YOU ARE no doubt with us, morally and Spiritually. Or are you NOT? We know YOU are, if YOU are sincere.
Yet, life cannot be merely a doctrine, or luscious delusion. Life is always real. So it is not enough to SYMPATHISE with our noble ideals and aspirations. What counts foremost in life, it is not what we believe, or dream about, but what we ARE and DO – what we BE and LIVE. Of prime importance therefore, are the efforts that we all cast into the common lot for the COMMON GOOD. Only actual SERVICE, in whichever way we prefer, can be effective, for “alone”, we are weak and incomplete while UNITED we increase in power, wholeness and accomplishments. Any other consideration is simple lip-service, vain lyrics, fruitless romance, fancy dream, or doctrinal divagation.
Why not JOIN this great Spiritual Front against war, ignorance, crude materialism, misery, sectarian intolerance, social injustice, brutal colonialism, political oppression, effete morals, mystical tyranny, and all the evils which divide, vilify and degenerate man? Or must civilized people remain selfish, ruthlessly theological, stupidly exclusive, irresponsibly aggressive, racially discriminative, and economically exploiting toward on another?
Let there be no more enemies, foreigners or strangers.
There is only ONE God, ONE Truth, ONE Humanity and ONE Righteousness, so WHY be opposed and antagonistic toward each other? Why not be Partners, Friends, and Brothers in selectiveness, despite natural differences of mentality, psychology and personal interests? The Lords Krishna, Tama, Hermes, Zoroaster, Abraham, MelchiTsedeq, Buddha, Christ, Mohammed, Ramana, and all the Masters of Wisdom have never antagonized each other – se why should their Disciples and followers be enemies?
We expect YOUR ACTIVE co-operation, which would be the best way to prove the value of your ideals and also justify your own better endeavors. Let as achieve Union in Universality and Unity in Multiplicity.
