¿WHERE DOES MAN FAIL TO HIMSELF AS WELL AS TO GOD, TO THE TRUTH AND TO HUMANITY?

Who are those who reject the UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD-COMMONWEALTH OF MANKIND, THE UNIVERSAL CULTURAL, HUMANIST, RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL ALLIANCE OF PEACEFUL AND FREE PEOPLE, and the PERMANENT WORLD CONGRESS OF RELIGIONS, FAITHS, FRATERNITIES AND SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHIES?

WHAT THE ENEMIES OF GOD, TRUTH, HUMANITY AND THE GOLDEN RULE CLAIM AND WHAT THEY ACTUALLY DO.

Results are the consequence of good motives, never of wrong attitudes and false claims.

WHITER MANKIND?

Too often – more of than not – people are mentally clogged or at least they behave as though they were incapable of accurate and trustworthy rational thinking. They are those who prefer to be radical, so they assert that there is no divinity, no spirit, no universal laws, no Golden Rule, no conscience, no respectable and dignified philosophies. “NO” is their standpoint and answer anyway. They begin by being negative, so they do not have to worry about absolutes and exactitude; their precision consists in accepting anything that is taboo, anything they are told, anything that will save them the trouble of doing some thinking of their own.

                There is still another kind of people, among many others, of course, it is those who believe that history, civilization, culture and human dignity began to exist with them, their clan, their faith or their “tours of forces”. To them, naturally, history is just so much tommy-rot, excretions of primitiveness unworthy of neither the primeal nor the glory that the new power wielders incarnate. To these, certainly, nothing of history anterior to them, or before their faith and claims of divine magnificence is neither fit nor deserving to survive. Let us be frank and honest above all, and have the courage to face facts. Can it stand to reason that the sacred symbols and the Wisdom, the Deities, the relics, the learning and the Holy Ones belonging to past ages – or sincerely not at heart with the new orders of things – be really meaningless, without values and supremely obnoxious, so to say good only to serve as firewood to heat up the glory of those who so monstrously hate and destroy everything and anybody that is unwilling to submit to their conquering gestures? History is witness to the Splendour of Art and Science as well as to the Noblesse of Religion and the portents of Spirituality; and still more noteworthy is the fact that for the most part these have proved unquestionably wonderful and unsurpassed as well as unequable in grandeur.

      Is it not really unbecoming and sacrilegious, terribly savage, indeed, to make offerings on the altar of new schisms new idols, new fads, and uncompassable hypocrisy and new editions of unessayed foul designs and unglorious tragedies such as those which we all witness today in all the latitudes of the world?

      It is, indeed, profoundly sad to know that the conquering armies of this or that rising faith, or of this or that pugnacious and rowing empire goes about sowing havoc where culture flourishes, destroying temples to their heart´s content, enslaving men and abusing women unless they choose to massacrate them, or unfailingly unthroning, vilifying and denaturing or annihilating the deities they encounter - all this in the name of heavenly messages, or claiming that it is for the welfare of mankind and in behalf or a newly appointed divinity. See how – in the course of history – the Hindus erased and ostracized Buddhism in India, how the Jews vanquished and murdered their predecessors and the Egyptians, how Moslems subdued and colonized Hindustan and other countries, or how the Christians themselves rose up in arms with un-quenchable bloodthirst – indulging in ignominy and savagery in the name of Love and Charity, or waging campaigns of conquest and catechization against all the others throughout the world. Then appeared the Masons, the Communists, the Theosophists and the Spiritists, and behold! How these scheming societies of secret forces have tried and still pretend to dominate mankind and run the whole world to their own exclusive benefit, in the name pf Peace and Humanity but with a brutal fury which only spells inhumanity and ignominious ruthlessness. “INCIDENTS due to ACCIDENTS OF TIMES and depending on HISTORICAL NECESSITIES some unwary historians will say. Nay, simply sporadic outbursts of human brutality, for after all, is there any conquest that has not responded to a lust for power as much as to greed and plain bigotry, or consummated superstition and ignorance? Cultural penetration and spiritual expansion are different things altogether. So are brutal fare, annihilation of cities and populations and rule by the sword, or by fear, bloodshed in systematic stultitia and insane, pitiless ruthlessness. Just what part has God in all these fantastic displays of crude and morbid murder, destruction and ignominy? What about LOVE, KINDNESS and HUMAN DIGNITY, just where do they fit in all these great epopteias of human infamy, sinister brutality and monstrous saturnalism (satanism)?

      Certainly, wars, colonialism and ultra-nationalism or imperialistic domineering have had their moments of glory and greatness. But, we wonder, is the price paid worth the results? Can the fruits of wrath, bigotry, brutal intolerance and almighty really bear seeds of happiness, kindness, noblesse and spiritual wisdom? We remain askance.

      If all forms of mercantile and cultural penetration in different lands were characterized by archeological interest, preservation of Art, continuation of ancient civilizations of Spiritual magnitude, and to improve the social and economic lot of people, there could be nothing shady or repulsive about colonialism or conquest. But history tells the truth about what happens instead. In sound reasoning we fail to find good motives and a wise attitude in the fiendish destruction of unthroned ancient deities, monumental temples and people with their flourishing culture. There is absolutely nothing condonable or respectable about behaving like unrestrained fiends or mad demons. Those who so pretend to impose their faith, their culture or their might prove, rather, that they are unworthy of genuine leadership and shorn of spiritual greatness as well as incapable of true culture and impotent in matters of moral and spiritual responsibility or guidance.

GOLD LIGHT AND SKY DUST
FOR THE MEDITATION HOUR

• The more ancient is a Deity the more deserving of respect it is.
• Tress bear flowers and fruits. Humans produce a progeny for themselves and virtues and wisdom for the eternal universe.
• Start the day or any undertaking with a great smile so as to finish with dignity.
• Show me a new prophet who is better than the old ones, and I´ll believe in him.
• A temple of Universal Truth or a real Spiritual Shrine incarnates the Essence of Life, not the fancies which tickle and exalt the senses.
• It would be really wonderful to see the wealthy religious bodies indulge in archeology, comparative analysis of ancient cultures and civilizations, and the preservation of bygone ages’ religious monuments or marvels of Art. Indeed, they cannot indulge simply because they are incapable of appraising them, and, foremost, it is impossible to them to admit importance and to praise them, for to do so would be tantamount to proving the validity and innocuity of many of their claims. It is already too much for them to witness the indestructibility of their Spiritual Glory of past ages, which for the same reason are treated as competitors for the same motive must be either degraded, vilified, denatured, muzzled or destroyed. Some evidences are awkward, as they prove destructive to schismatic growths, because they are telling evidences which cannot be equaled, due to lack of genius; so, instead, they are imitated with not too much talent, and never obtaining results as portentous as originals.
• Some great religions give the impression that they are actors in a great battle against all the Deities except one.

HOW WONDERFUL IT WOULD BE, INDEED, IF HUMAN BEINGS COULD PROVE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO REALIZE THAT ALL DEITIES ARE IDENTICAL, AND ALL FAITHS EQUALLY IMPORTANT WHEN THEY ARE REALLY EFFECTIVE.

• We know of a great soul who became a convert of all the known religions who studied to a point of proficiency all the philosophies, and cultivated all the arts and sciences with distinction and excellence that caused admiration everywhere, until he reached a ripe and serene old age but still fulfilling his task as spiritual educator, instructor and guide. – Is not such an example worthy of being followed?
